Am I Eligible to Play with EGLA?

Am I Eligible to Play for East Greenwich Lacrosse Association (EGLA)?

To be eligible to play for the East Greenwich Lacrosse Association during the Spring Season, your player must:

  1. Have a current USA Lacrosse Membership with an expiration date later than the last day of the program for which you are registering.

  2. Reside in one of the following zip codes:  East Greenwich (02818), Potowomut Warwick neighborhood (02818), or West Warwick (02893), OR

  3. Attend one of the two private schools located in East Greenwich, RI:  Our Lady of Mercy or Rocky Hill Country Day School.  When registering, in the Zip Code field, please select 'Waiver Request (attend OLM or RHCD)' in the pull down menu.

  4. Players who do not meet one of the zip code requirements above (#2 or #3) can still register and select the Zip Code field 'Waiver Request Other'.
    1. Next, please email Eastgreenwichlax@gmail.com with an Email header "Waiver Request Other" with your player's name and an explanation as to why you're requesting to play with EGLA, instead of your own town's spring league.
    2. First, we'll need to obtain permission from your town's lacrosse league President.
    3. If approved, we'll then submit the waiver request to the Rhode Island Youth Lacrosse League (RIYLL) for review.
    4. If RIYLL approves the waiver, we'll notify you and request that you complete the registration payment to secure your player's spot for the spring season.
