BOYS' EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS 2024/20245
Required Field Player Equipment (applies to all age levels):
- Boy's Lacrosse Stick
- Lacrosse Helmet
- Statement/seal indicating it meets NOCAE lacrosse standard performance specification and SEI certified
- Lacrosse Shoulder Pads
- Covers top of shoulder, collarbone & sternum
- Should fit comfortably; adjust by loosening/tightening straps
- NOCSAE ND 200 compliant mandatory as of January 1, 2022
- Covers top of shoulder, collarbone & sternum
- Lacrosse Arm Pads
- Elbow should be properly & completely covered
- Elbow should be properly & completely covered
- Lacrosse Gloves
- Hand must be fully inserted in glove
- Protective Cup
- Fitted for comfort & protection
- Garmets to improve comfort include: supporters, all-in-one briefs & combinations of both
- Mouth guard
- Must be a visible color other than clear or white
- Self-molding or custom-molded (from dentist)
- Any non-metal spiked cleats
Optional Equipment:
- Lacrosse Rib Pads
- Covers the ribs and kidneys; adjust by loosening/tightening straps
- Should fit comfortably, not restricting breathing

- Comfortable athletic socks with good ankle support
- Tape for stick handle
Required Goalie Equipment (applies to all age levels):
*In addition to the above Helmet, Mouth guard, protective cup
- Throat Guard
- Chest Protector (starting 2021, must wear goalkeeper chest protectors which meet the NOCSAE ND200 lacrosse standards at the time of manufacture)
- Goalie Gloves
- Hands must be fully inserted in glove
- Includes Goalie specific additional thumb protection
