BOYS' EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS 2023/2024

Required Field Player Equipment (applies to all age levels):

• Boy's Lacrosse Stick
• NOCSAE-approved Lacrosse Helmet; must standard performance specification and SEI certified
• NOCSAE ND 200 compliant Lacrosse Shoulder Pads (*mandatory as of January 1, 2022)
• Lacrosse Arm Pads
• Lacrosse Gloves
• Protective Cup
• Mouth guard (*must be a visible color other than clear or white; self-molding or custom-molded (from dentist)
• Any non-metal spiked cleats

Optional Equipment:

• Lacrosse Rib Pads
• Comfortable athletic socks with good ankle support
• Tape for stick handle

Required Goalie Equipment (applies to all age levels):

*In addition to the above Helmet, Mouth guard, protective cup

• Throat Guard
• Chest Protector (starting 2021, must wear goalkeeper chest protectors which meet the NOCSAE ND200 lacrosse standards at the time of manufacture)
• Goalie Gloves
• Goalie Crosse

**Effective January 1, 2022, shoulder pads for boys’ field players must be designed for lacrosse and meet NOCSAE standard ND200. Products are now available.
